Job Purpose
To drive company and customer vehicles safely, as and when required, from receipt through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Financials
- Support the achievement of branch revenue targets by ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Implementation
- Transport customer and commercial heavy vehicles at various stages of repair, from receipt to delivery.
- Safely handle and drive heavy vehicles, including buses and civilian carriers, for employee transportation.
- Ensure protective covers are placed in customer vehicles before driving.
- Operate all vehicles safely and within the prescribed speed limits.
- Complete and attach key tags to all vehicle keys.
- Return all vehicle keys immediately to the designated location after parking.
- Report any accidents to the immediate superior without delay.
- Inform the superior if valuables are found in any vehicle.
- Maintain availability within the premises at all times.
Customer Journey
- Handle customer vehicles in accordance with company policies and standards.
Learning & Growth
- Demonstrate initiative in attending training and self-improvement opportunities provided by management.
- Accurately complete logs for all external trips.
- Maintain tidiness of uniform, punctuality, and discipline at work.
Policies, Procedures, and Corporate Governance
- Strictly adhere to workshop and personal safety procedures as per SOPs.
- Obey all traffic rules and regulations at all times.
Educational Qualifications
- Secondary school level or equivalent.
Work Experience
- 23 years of relevant experience.
Competencies
- Valid U.A.E. heavy-duty driving licence.
